HEY, I'm Laura, call me Lau, a portrait photographer based in Felixstowe.

I've always been fascinated by people and the stories they carry. What drew me to photography was its ability to capture something real, whether that's a quiet moment, a genuine connection, or a glimpse of someone's personality that might otherwise go unnoticed.

As a self-taught photographer, I'm passionate about creating portraits that feel natural, authentic and true to the person in front of the camera. I know that being photographed can feel daunting, so I aim to create a relaxed and comfortable experience where people can simply be themselves.

Much of my work is inspired by life along Suffolk's coastline and the communities that make it unique. Through both personal projects and commissioned work, I'm interested in documenting people, relationships and the connections that bring us together.
